My site fits the criteria -- now what? 
Joining the S.D.C. Ring is simple. Just follow these simple steps: 
  1. Fill out this form and click on the "Submit" button. Note that this does not place your site in the Ring, but rather in the waiting queue, where it will remain until all steps are completed and I've added your site to the Ring myself.

    Keywords: Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site.
    Description: Enter a short description of your site.
  2. Add the S.D.C. Ring HTML fragment to your site. This is ideally placed at the bottom of your main page (or whatever page the WebRing links to), but if you want to place it on a separate "WebRings"  page or somewhere else, place it there. Just make sure it's easy to find; if someone wants to leave your site, don't make them hunt for the exit. 
  3. E-mail your illustrious RingMaster (BruteForce) and let me know you've added the HTML fragment to your site.
  4. Give me a few days to visit your site and review it, to make sure it fits all entry requirements. I'll check for presence of the ring code, make sure all the links work, read over the material, and generally just give it a once-over to verify that everything is in order.

After that, you should recieve an E-mail from me, notifying you of your addition to the Ring. Sometimes it only takes a few hours, sometimes it takes a week -- it all depends on how busy I am, when I'm on-line and how much stuff is on your site for me to go through.

If I decide not to add your site for whatever reason, you'll receive an E-mail from me telling you exactly why not, and the site will remain in the queue until the site is added (assuming you make some changes) or you remove it (you can do so through the "Edit" link at left).
